Bergamot brings the citrus, juniper keeps it green, and rose geranium rounds the whole thing out with a softer floral note. Dook makes each salt soap by hand in small batches in Edinburgh, so the bar feels as distinctive as it smells.

Himalayan salt is what makes Dook soap different: it gives the bar its firm texture and satisfyingly substantial lather. A very good soap that happens to look rather handsome beside the sink.

To Use

Lather the soap in your hands and wash with the lather rather than rubbing the salt bar directly on delicate skin. If using the bar directly on the body, wrap it in a flannel or soap saver bag. Between uses, keep on a well-draining soap dish with good airflow. Store unused bars somewhere warm, dry and well ventilated.
