details

The Higonokami is a stripped-back Japanese pocket knife with essentially no interest in bells, whistles or unnecessary parts. Its simple friction-folding design has been made in Japan for generations and feels refreshingly direct in the hand.

Useful for twine, parcels, whittling and the hundred small cutting jobs that appear once you have a good knife nearby.

Aogami Blue Paper Steel

3 in blade

Care

Keep the blade clean and dry. Wipe with Camellia Oil periodically to protect the steel. The friction action can loosen with use and may be tightened at the rivet.
