details

A kenzan, or flower frog, is one of those tools that changes how you arrange flowers. Instead of hiding stems in foam, the weighted pin base lets you place each one deliberately and leave the mechanics beautifully visible.

Use it for formal ikebana or ignore the rules entirely. Both approaches tend to produce better flowers.

Brass pins; lead base

Small: 36 mm; Medium: 61 mm; Large: 80 mm; Extra Large: 97 mm

To Use

Set in a shallow vessel with water and top up daily. Make criss-cross cuts in thicker woody stems before placing. Straighten bent pins as needed.
