A mere sprtiz.
A quick spritz of neroli water after a meeting that went far too long. Reserving twenty (or so) minutes before bed for a warm salt soak. A small dab of perfume that only you might notice—but that's all that matters.
It's often the smallest indulgences that have the biggest impact on our mood, our confidence, and our sense of calm.
A while back, I was at a dinner party when a guest reached into her handbag, pulled out a little bottle, and misted her face. Naturally, I had to ask what it was.
"Rose water," she replied.
I remember thinking, How wonderfully indulgent. I hadn't even considered that carrying a facial mist in your bag was a thing. But there she was, taking ten seconds to do something that made her feel refreshed.
That tiny moment stuck with me.
Since then, I've allowed myself to indulge in small rituals. A spritz of neroli water. A favorite perfume. A luxurious bar of soap.
Just a few moments of your day and permission to enjoy them.

Lately, I've been starting one or two mornings a week with the Dook Green Clay Facemask Made with French green clay and lightly scented with rosemary, it's become one part of my otherwise dull morning ritual and a time to do a little something calming for my face.
Many of you have been enjoying our roll-on, oil based perfumes from La Tombée out of Montreal. They're wonderfully personal; intended to be discovered rather than announced. A quiet fragrance that draws people in instead of arriving before you do.

And then there are the soaps from The Quiet Botanist from Hudson, New York. Beautifully crafted, thoughtfully wrapped, and almost too pretty to use...almost.

As for the spritz that initially set this whole idea into a routine, I've been switching between Merigold's Rose or Neroli water. I'm historically a rose girl, but the Neroli fragrance is captivating.
