Peperomia ‘Watermelon’ is one of those plants people double-take at. A cultivar of Peperomia argyreia, it’s named for its round leaves patterned with soft silver and deep green stripes—uncannily like a watermelon rind. The foliage grows on slender, reddish stems, forming a compact, slightly sculptural plant that feels equal parts playful and polished.
